Lady Ashley presents The Wicker Dick

Towards the end of my 2024 film season, The Wicker Dick went into production. It had been my goal for some time to create a scary movie when I landed on the idea. A mix of folk-horror, erotica and art, it’s my masterpiece to date. I used all of my film-making skills and storytelling abilities to imagine a community of alluring women with strange customs. Every detail was designed, every plot twist carefully woven, every sound crafted with purpose. After months immersed in my film season, studying movies and experimenting with gear, I employed all of my knowledge to make this cinematic series. It’s the feature presentation I’ve been most excited to release.

The Wicker Dick is inspired by The Wicker Man, but it isn’t a rehash of the film. Nor is it the only movie I watched to get in the zone for writing the story and performing the role. Both versions of The Wicker Man(1973, 2006), as well as Midsommar(2019), provided insight when it came to creating the motives behind the actions of the community. I had to imagine what would lead a group to isolate themselves in an effort to keep their pagan traditions sacred. By revealing over time the history of my fictional village, I was able to implement foreshadowing throughout the series.

I didn’t want to give away too much of the story too soon, so pacing was key. Exposition was slowly peeled back through layers to keep the viewer guessing until the surprise ending. Clues are all around with iconography in every scene. Some hints are so subtle that the viewer won’t even realize what he’s seeing the first time around. Flickering flames highlight the danger. Wicker knots are a constant reminder of the rustic isolation. Bright orange burns hot, decorating each set, as well as my body.

A variety of sexy looks were worn for The Wicker Dick but they all have colors in common. Every outfit showcases orange and is paired with either pink or red. The unique combination of pink and orange isn’t often seen in fashion but it is routinely seen in sunsets and flowers. Not only eye-catching across my hourglass figure, the soft color palate is a reminder of nature and helps to immerse the viewer in the pagan village. Feminine styles were selected to reinforce the idea that this is a community controlled by women. Flirty dresses, satin panties, and layers of sheer mesh adorn my petite curves and give lots to look at while taking in the story.

The b-roll for this series focuses on money shots…

The b-roll for this series focuses on money shots where I thoroughly show off silk panties, stocking tops and my red lips. The a-roll is an immersive POV where the viewer looks into my warm eyes as I offer encouragement and information. At the beginning of the film season I decided to record multiple takes of each clip with the goal of choosing the best one for release. The Wicker Dick was the first series where I felt so good about the different takes that I wanted to edit together the best bits from each for a very potent performance.

The Wicker Dick is also the first cinematic series with a companion rock song, plus music video(both coming soon!). Fans of OLA have come to learn that they don’t find this level of production anywhere else in indie porn. With music made in-house from synths, guitars, pedals and professional software, the accompaniment has become more soundtrack-like over the years – which is perfect for all of the cinematic series being released. The Wicker Dick is a special series and I wanted every part to have its own feel. The music in each clip has its own personality but all share the same mysterious and haunting uneasiness that envelops the viewer.

Proper set dressing helps the viewer lose himself…

Proper set dressing helps the viewer lose himself in the erotic pagan community that I have conceived. The biggest challenge was making the scenes full enough to believably represent unique locations. Two outdoor settings had to look like different areas and three indoor settings had to function as separate rooms. I wanted each shot to be full of symbolism that enhanced the story, so everything was placed in the frame for a reason. From hiding behind palm fronds at night, to an over-the-top jungle at the ritual site, several artificial plants were used to provide more depth to each set. Lighting helped to differentiate the sets, as well. Blue was used for nighttime. Yellow with blue represented the sunny outdoors. Warm glowing candles acted as practical lighting for ambiance. More cinematic than flashy, lights were chosen to enhance the scene rather than show off capabilities.

With five different sets to be dressed and filmed, I had to get creative with my limited options. I knew I was going to use items that were featured in other series, so I bought some inexpensive decorations to give new life to my props. The biggest makeover was draping a simple rustic linen cloth over an often-used white table. This dressed up a basic piece to become a setting for the feast. The table was topped off with orange flowers, wood candles, and a glass bowl glowing with scraps of wicker. In another scene with frequently used tables, similar decor came in handy. One table had romantic red candles and the other had a crystal serving dish used to display a stack of orange candy penises.

The orange penises were one of two crafts made for this series. The internet had only a few options for chocolate penises, but they were all over my budget – and when I really got to looking at them, they weren’t very appealing. After seeing so many options on Etsy, I figured it couldn’t be that difficult to make my own. So, I searched for candy molds in the ideal size and shape, and bought a bunch of melting wafers in white, as well as some oil-based food dye. I dyed the melted chocolate orange and poured it into the molds to create custom penis pops to use as a prop.

Penis shapes were also hand-made from wood. The dream was to create a sort of wicker dick – a penis with a head, shaft and balls. I had never woven before and had no plan to follow, so I got multiple sizes of wicker, looked at some basket weaving instructions, and got to work with what little time I had. The end result was larger than my envisage, but it actually worked out well when considering how large and monstrous the original wicker man was compared to the human sacrifice inside. Lots of scraps were created along the way through trial and error, and many went on to decorate the sets throughout the series.

Inspired by folk horror, dressed for sex appeal and written to mind-fuck

Whenever a series needs crafting, it becomes something special to me. Taking the time to make custom props connects me more to the process. That connection, along with the ability to use my knowledge and skills, has made this my latest masterpiece. Inspired by folk horror, dressed for sex appeal and written to mind-fuck, The Wicker Dick will captivate the imagination of boners for years to come.
