Six years of Devilish December have led to this. What started as a series of tasks and tricks to hijack the holiday season has turned into an annual OLA tradition. And as much of my work, it tops itself year after year, taking on a life of its own. From its inception in 2018, Devilish December has seen many faces. Often featuring red outfits, more recently all accessorized with devil horns, and sets that grow increasingly over-the-top, this antidote to the wholesome Christmas atmosphere has become one of my favorite series – even if it is JOI clips.
Devilish December took a turn for the decadent and debaucherous in 2021. That was a pivotal year in my work becoming more cinematic, and props were a new passion. Familiar with the joyful ambiance created by balloons, I decided to incorporate a variety of red, black and silver spheres as the backdrop for my all-red ensembles. This was also the first year I wore devil horns, but only for two clips. Since then, I started wearing horns with every Devilish December outfit, but the theatrical sets changed from year to year. Black, velvet curtains framed the scenes in 2022, and constructed satin sheets designed to embody fiery plumes of Hell were featured in 2023. This year, I wanted to do something completely different.
2024 marks the 7th heavenly annual Devilish December and I wondered what it would be like for the Devil to get into the holy-day spirit. That meant festive décor, outfits of pure white, and of course the Devil got her angel wings back – if only for just this year. This series was taking on a comedic tone, and after a winter of watching Tales from the Crypt, I was inspired to write puns to open and close each JOI clip. Even the music is custom-made Christmas detunes, all based on the punny titles of each clip. This thoughtful detail for a handful of jerk off instructions is what makes these clips more than just whackies.
Set dressing is always a highlight for any series. Dreaming up the scene, finding items that fit the bill, and assembling layers to create another world inspires my best work. Since the goal this Christmas is to get on the Naughty List, I went all-in on raunching up the holiday, while also keeping things joyous and merry. The smallest and cheapest pre-lit tree was acquired, as well as a short length of red garland and a variety of naughty ornaments to decorate it. I searched all over the internet for the best kinky charms for the adult Christmas tree and found blown glass ornaments shaped into sexy ladies, a wooden penis snowflake and BDSM gingerbread couple, a horny snowman on glazed ceramic, and a knit angel-penis for the top. The finished tree was set on a table covered with shimmering gold fabric that flowed down to presents wrapped in silver and bows.
Five uniquely decorated gifts are presented throughout the series and each box is featured on top of a second, gold covered table. The decorative bows of each gift correspond with small, colored LEDs that glow inside when the Devil pulls off the top of the box. The colors found on the bows and in the boxes are also seen in each respective clip as a festive light show. Shimmering, icy streamers over sparkling fairy lights create the backdrop. The scene is topped off with glittering snowflakes falling from the sky.
The Christmas spirit doesn’t end there. Each of the five clips for this 7th heavenly Devilish December is titled after a holiday song. The titles hint at the tricky tasks within, and also provide the inspiration for the musical backing. Hand-played on a synth and effected into distortion, these holiday classics are corrupted and heard like never before. As an atheist who believes only Christians should be celebrating Jesus’ birth, I find it very devilish to take songs that are held in reverence and turn them into vulgarities. Corrupted familiar melodies help convey the mischievous undertones of Devilish December.
Some of the tricks are more obvious and some take longer to unfold. But you’ll be ready to make any deal with the Devil when you’re lulled into obedience by my wholesome and pure outfits of white. Creating the right combinations so styles didn’t overlap for the few clips of the series was very important. I looked through wardrobe for what I currently had and acquired the rest of the pieces on a budget. I was able to put together a variety of fabrics and cuts that showcase my sensual body in different ways. White was chosen as the main outfit color because it’s heavenly, but she wouldn’t be the Devil if she didn’t wear some red. So I chose red accents, from gloves to jewelry to underwear. Seeing the flashes of bold color, you’ll know you’re dealing with Satan, just like George Burns in Oh God, You Devil – a movie I watched for some wicked inspiration, and ended up confirming my color combo was on-point.
Because this series was filmed in one day, and because I had to get ready to film Obedient October the following day, I kept it very simple with the shots. The main camera was always centered on the scene and used my widest angle lens to capture some slight visual distortion. A wide angle lens used close to the subject flattens the field of depth. In this case, my legs appeared to be slightly larger in some poses, giving a mildly disorienting view of my body. The second camera was set at a dutch angle to capture money shots of my lap and torso. The precarious and uneven effect was consistent with the warped Christmas theme, and just one of many layers that complete this thorough package.
You’ll see that everything is a little twisted during Devilish December. The outfits are pure white and tainted with seductive red. The familiar holiday songs are corrupted and detuned. The Christmas tree is perverted with raunchy baubles. And no JOI is simply a guide to climax. You had your first warning when the devil sat in front of you with horns on her head and angel wings on her back. Your wholesome holiday is hijacked.
